Child Care Strategy Facilitator
Bree Murphy holds a Master of Science in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism from the University of Utah, with a strong academic foundation in social psychology and experiential education. With over two decades of experience working with families and children, Bree has developed and implemented innovative early childhood and youth programs designed to support the diverse needs of working parents.
As the Child Care Strategy Facilitator at the University of Utah, Bree leads university-wide efforts to assess and address the evolving child care needs of faculty, staff, and students. Her work focuses on identifying forward-thinking solutions that enhance access to high-quality, affordable child care—recognizing its vital role in the success of both children and working families.
Bree is deeply committed to creating safe, nurturing environments where children can learn and grow, enabling parents and guardians to pursue their professional and academic goals with confidence. She is an active member of the Utah State Child Care Licensing Committee, serving as a subject matter expert in Child Care Development, and also serves on the Office of Child Care Advisory Committee as the Public-at-Large Representative.
With a firm belief in the power of community, Bree champions the idea that raising children is a collective effort. Her work reflects a dedication to building supportive systems and resources that strengthen families and promote the healthy development of the next generation.
